Bear Power Supplies announces its new BP7 series DIN rail mountable AC/DC power supplies for industrial applications. With reliable operation to +70 degrees C, these power converters are ideal for industrial equipment such as process control, manufacturing, and measurement systems.

The BP7 series power supplies are designed for convenient snap-in mounting on standard TS-35 DIN rails. The terminal block input and output are front mounted for easy access. An Enable connection allows remote on/off without the need to route primary AC power to the enclosure control panel. They feature BEAR’s unique active inrush current limiting for long life and fewer nuisance fuse failures or tripped breakers.

BP7 DIN rail power supplies are available in 5-watt, 10-watt, 15-watt and 30-watt models. The single-output power converters have output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24 and 48 volts with universal input (90 to 264 volts AC).

Specifications include:

  • Operating temperature (half load, 0-95% humidity): -40°C to +70°C
  • Operating temperature (full load, 0-95% humidity): -40°C to +60°C
  • Inrush current (peak, max): 8 Amps
  • Noise and ripple (peak-to-peak, max): 1%

All Bear power supplies are RoHS and FCC Class B compliant. They carry the CE mark and are TUV-tested to meet industry standard certification requirements for performance and safety including EN 60950-1.
