Because the EMI filter is built right in, you can eliminate that module from your design when you use the BP1 power supply from Bear Power Supplies. And of course, you also get our unique inrush current limiting and fusing encapsulated right in the power module. The package pins are lead-free and able to withstand wave solder without contaminating lead-free solder lines. All Bear Power Supplies are RoHS compliant. The 5 W, 10 W and 15 W models have industry standard pinouts. See the drawings for pinout configurations.

PCB-Mountable with 3-pin Mini-IEC Input Connector

This patented power converter features a 3-pin mini-IEC input connector and detachable line cord. This compact package improves safety — and simplifies your design, testing and certification task – by eliminating exposed high voltage traces from your printed circuit board.

As with all Bear Power Supplies, you get inrush current limiting, EMI filtering, and fusing encapsulated in the module.

The compact, convenient package mounts right on your printed circuit board. Output pins for Enable (remote on/off), -Vout and +Vout are on the bottom of the package. The package pins are lead-free and able to withstand wave solder without contaminating lead-free solder lines. All Bear Power Supplies are RoHS compliant.

Chassis-Mountable with Terminal Block Input and Output

Choose the BP4 chassis-mount package when PCB space is a premium, or you simply prefer the power supply mounted to the chassis. It is ideal for use in NEMA enclosures. The BP4 has terminal block connectors for both input and output (Enable, -Vout and +Vout).

As with all Bear Power Supplies, you get inrush current limiting, EMI filtering, and fusing encapsulated in the module. These single-output supplies are available in 5 W, 10 W, 15 W and 30 W models. All Bear Power Supplies are RoHS compliant.

DIN Rail Mountable

The performance and reliability of Bear Power Supplies are now available in a convenient DIN rail mountable package. These encapsulated power supplies feature Bear Power Supplies unique active inrush current limiting technology, EMI filter, and fusing right in the module.

Their wide operating temperature range makes them ideal for applications such as industrial automation and process control in harsh environments.

Bear Power Supplies DIN rail packages have terminal block connections for input and output.

These single-output supplies are available in 5W, 10W, 15W and 30W models. All Bear Power Supplies are RoHS compliant.

BPS Series Miniature Isolated DC/DC Converters

Now with output to 300 VDC

BPS Series high-voltage DC-DC converters feature up to five times better efficiency and ten times better load regulation than similar products on the market. These high-reliability isolated converters operate from -55°C to +85°C with no heat sink or electrical derating required. These are configurable 1.5W converters, ideal for powering PIN diodes, APDs and piezoelectric devices.

Applications include:

• RF transceivers
• Programmable filters
• Industrial or scientific instruments
• BPS Series converters have a single input voltage (configurable from 3 VDC to 15 VDC) and a single output voltage (configurable from 50 VDC to 300 VDC). Output voltage is directly proportional to input voltage.
